This is my second visit of Daishichi. Somehow, their sake makes me very emotional, even regular Honjozo. My first surprising Junmai Daiginjo was Daishichi Minowamon. I still remember when I had Minowamon first time at Sakagura restaurant. The silky and sublime beauty of Junmai Daiginjo awoke me as a Sake Sommelier. After the moment, I have had Daishichi’s Junmai Daiginjo at many of my important turning points. Their sake makes straighten my back when I have Daishichi.

Do you like Yamahai sake? Me? Of course, Yes, I LOVE IT. Tengumai sake is one of my most favorite Yamahai Sake brands. Their sake is NOT fancy fragrant type at all, but always great for foods, and enjoyable all temperature. That’s great character of Tengumai. I really like their “Nuru-Kan” which means slightly warm or warm. The warm rice flavor pervades my capillary vessels, and makes me feel like “I am real Japanese….”

And, they made me a HUGE fan of Ishikawa prefecture!! This trip was my first visit for Ishikawa. I really regretted why I had never been there till this time!! City is soooo beautiful with many green and histories, and of course Sake and foods are wonderful!! I have to go back there soon!!
