Honestly, I didn’t know where the island was until my friend (oh, the friend is now my husband! lol) took me to the popular hidden Japanese restaurant called “Umi no ie”. They serve Goto island style comfort food and many kinds of Shochu from the Southern parts of Japan.
Their sake selection is not that large, but, they have some of the most popular sake, such as Hakkaisan!
On Thursday, February 24th, they are going to hold a special party. You can enjoy unlimited Hakkaisan and many kinds of seasonal dishes for just $40!! (doesn’t include tax and tip) It’s going to be very fun night!
