I was very honored to help this part of wonderful project of Gohan Society for Ishikawa prefecture food and sake tasting at French restaurant Daniel as a sake sommelier. It was an amazing opportunity!

Tengumai UMAGIN

P1040823 My favorite Junmai Ginjo “TENGUMAI UMAGIN”. Actually, this Junmai Ginjo is NOT fancy Ginjo type at all. Many people may not understand this strong point right away if you taste it. However, this simple smoothness and gentle rice flavor Umami is enjoyable forever with all type of dishes!

I really wish I could find the places more which serve this UMAGIN!

So far, only one place serves this sake in New York!!
